Statute: Crown Lands Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated May 4, 2009, and pursuant to Sections 7 and 16 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia to: (

a) subject to the terms and conditions outlined in paragraph (b), convey by deed or grant a lot of Crown land (PID 60492022), shown highlighted on

Schedule "A" attached to the report and recommendation, containing 28.15 hectares (69.55 acres) more or less at Middlewood, Lunenburg County, to Municipal Enterprises Limited, its successors or assigns; (

b) in exchange for the Crown land noted in paragraph (

a) accept from Municipal Enterprises Limited, its successors or assigns, one parcel of land (PID 60459187) shown highlighted on

Schedule "B" attached to the report and recommendation, containing 174 hectares (430 acres) more or less, at or near Middlewood, Lunenburg County, subject to the condition that Municipal Enterprises Limited, its successors or assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

c) prepare and have executed such documents as may be required to achieve the purpose of this Order.
