Order in Council 1141/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council by Order in Council 1140/2019, effective August 14, 2019, ordered the board of the Water Technology Acceleration Project (“ WaterTAP ”) to wind up the affairs of the corporation;

And

whereas pursuant to subsection 21(2) of the Water Opportunities Act, 2010 , the WaterTAP board prepared a proposed plan for winding up the corporation and transferring the corporation’s assets, liabilities, rights and obligations and provided such plan to the Lieutenant Governor in Council for approval;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 21(4) of the Water Opportunities Act, 2010 , the Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby approves the proposed plan for winding up the corporation and transferring the corporation’s assets, liabilities, rights and obligations.
