OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated March 6, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 155 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Executive Council Act , is pleased, effective on and after March 12, 2024, to: (

a) revoke Order in Council 2023-260 dated September 21, 2023; and (

b) whenever a member of the Executive Council holding an office listed in Column I of

Schedule “A”, attached, is unable for any reason to perform the duties of his/her office: (

i) appoint the first-named member of the Executive Council listed in Column II of

Schedule “A” as Acting Minister in the Minister’s stead; and (ii) in the event that the first-named member of the Executive Council listed in Column II is unavailable to act, appoint the second-named member of the Executive Council listed in Column II of

Schedule “A” as Acting Minister in the Minister’s stead.
