OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated March 25, 2009, and pursuant to
Section 4 of
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and all other authority in him vested, is pleased to, effective April 1, 2009: (
a) assign all affairs and matters pertaining to the Corporate Information Strategies Division of the Department of Economic and Rural Development including corporate strategies, policy, architecture and standards to Treasury and Policy Board; (
b) assign all affairs and matters pertaining to the records management aspect of the Nova Scotia Archives and Records Management Division of the Department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage to Treasury and Policy Board; (
c) assign all matters and affairs pertaining to network and infrastructure support, servers, desktop support, help desk, corporate solutions and communication falling within the IT Corporate Service Units to Treasury and Policy Board; (
d) assign all matters and affairs pertaining to Corporate IT Operations (CITO) of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to Treasury and Policy Board; and (
e) direct that a reference in any Act of the Legislature or in any rule, order, regulation, bylaw, ordinance or proceeding, or in any document whatsoever, to a Department or to the Minister or Deputy Minister of that Department to which affairs and matters have been transferred by this Order, whether the reference is by official name or otherwise, shall with respect to any subsequent transaction, matter or thing be held and construed to be a reference to Treasury and Policy Board or to the Chair of Treasury and Policy Board, as the case may be.
