OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Climate Change dated October 5, 2021, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased to authorize the Minister of Environment and Climate Change to enter into two Contribution Agreements to support work associated with a new regional climate change data centre: (

i) a three-year agreement between the Province and CLIMAtlantic Inc. to provide operational funding to the host organization of the new regional climate change data hub; and (ii) a three-year agreement between the Province and Environment and Climate Change Canada to enable funding to the Province to carry out Nova Scotia specific activities related to climate change data operations, in the form set forth in

Schedule “A” and

Schedule “B”, attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, effective on and after November 9, 2021, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the nature of the Agreements.
