Order in Council 927/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

writs be issued for a by-election to be held in the Electoral District of Sault Ste. Marie, rendered necessary because of the resignation of David Orazietti, member for the said electoral district,

the day for the close of nominations and the grant of a poll where required shall be Thursday May 18, 2017;

the day for the taking of a poll shall be Thursday, June 1, 2017.

This order is made under

section 9.1 of the Election Act .
