Labour Standards Code Reciprocal Enforcement Regulations

made under

Section 89A of the

Labour Standards Code

1 These regulations may be cited as the “Labour Standards Code Reciprocal Enforcement

Regulations”.

2 In these regulations, “Act” means the Labour Standards Code.

(1) The Province of Prince Edward Island is hereby declared to be a reciprocating

province for the purpose of the enforcement of Orders made under the Act.

(2) The Inspector of Labour Standards for the Province of Prince Edward Island is

hereby designated as the authority for that province for the purpose of

Section 89A

of the Act.

(1) The Province of Ontario is hereby declared to be a reciprocating province for the

purpose of the enforcement of Orders made under the Act.

(2) The Director of Employment Standards for the Province of Ontario is hereby

designated as the authority for that province for the purpose of

Section 89A of the

Act.

(1) The Province of Manitoba is hereby declared to be a reciprocating province for the

purpose of the enforcement of Orders made under the Act.

(2) The Director of Employment Standards for the Province of Manitoba is hereby

designated as the authority for that province for the purpose of

Section 89A of the

Act.

(1) The Province of Saskatchewan is hereby declared to be a reciprocating province for

the purpose of the enforcement of Orders made under the Act.

(2) The Director of Labour Standards for the Province of Saskatchewan is hereby

designated as the authority for that province for the purpose of

Section 89A of the

Act.

(1) The Province of Alberta is hereby declared to be a reciprocating province for the

purpose of the enforcement of Orders made under the Act.

(2) The Director of Employment Standards for the Province of Alberta is hereby

designated as the authority for that province for the purpose of

Section 89A of the

Act.

(1) The Province of British Columbia is hereby declared to be a reciprocating province

for the purpose of the enforcement of Orders made under the Act.

(2) The Director of Employment Standards for the Province of British Columbia is

hereby designated as the authority for that province for the purpose of

Section 89A

of the Act.

(1) The Yukon Territory is hereby declared to be a reciprocating province for the

purpose of the enforcement of Orders made under the Act.

(2) The Director of Employment Standards for the Yukon Territory is hereby designated

as the authority for that territory for the purpose of

Section 89A of the Act.

(1) The Northwest Territories is hereby declared to be a reciprocating province for the

purpose of the enforcement of Orders made under the Act.

(2) The Labour Standards Board of the Northwest Territories is hereby designated as the

authority for that territory for the purpose of

Section 89A of the Act.

(1) The Province of New Brunswick is hereby declared to be a reciprocating province

for the purpose of the enforcement of Orders made under the Act.

(2) The Director of Employment Standards for the Province of New Brunswick is

hereby designated as the authority for that province for the purpose of

Section 89A

of the Act.

O.I.C. 2002-462

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment

and Labour dated September 12, 2002, and pursuant to

subsection 89A(1) of

Chapter 246 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Labour

Standards Code , is pleased to

(

a) declare the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador to be a reciprocating province

for the purpose of enforcement of Orders under the Labour Standards Code and to

designate the Director of Labour Standards for that province as the authority for that

province for the purpose of

Section 89A of the Labour Standards Code ; and

(

b) declare the Territory of Nunavut to be a reciprocating province for the purpose of

enforcement of Orders under the Labour Standards Code and to designate the

Labour Standards Board for the Territory of Nunavut as the authority for that

province for the purpose of

Section 89A of the Labour Standards Code .

O.I.C. 2011-279

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour and

Advanced Education dated June 16, 2011, and pursuant to subsection 89A(1) of

Chapter 246 of

the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Labour Standards Code , is pleased to declare

the Province of Quebec to be a reciprocating province for the purpose of enforcement of orders

made pursuant to the Labour Standards Code and to designate the Commission des normes du

travail for that province as the authority for that province for the purpose of

Section 89A of the

Labour Standards Code .
