OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Communities, Culture and Heritage dated September 25, 2014, and pursuant to

Section 10 of

Chapter 24 of the Acts of 1998, the Public Archives Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Trudy Amirault of South Ohio, Yarmouth County, as a member of the Public Archives of Nova Scotia Board of Trustees, for a term of three years commencing November 4, 2014; and (

b) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Trudy Amirault in her capacity as a member of the Public Archives of Nova Scotia Board of Trustees, and indemnify her from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided, however, that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of her activities in relation to her appointment, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity, and where the Province so defends her, the Province will be in control of the case.
