DESIGNATION AND TRANSFER OF RESPONSIBILITY

AMENDMENT REGULATION

on December 20, 2006 pursuant to sections 17 and 18 of the Government

Organization Act.

1 The Designation and Transfer of Responsibility

Regulation (AR 317/2006) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 14(8) is amended

(

a) by striking out "elements 3.1.3," and substituting "the

seniors function of element 3.1.3, elements";

(

b) by striking out "and $350 000 of element 3.4.3" and

substituting ", the seniors function of element 3.4.5".

Section 16(2)(

b) is amended by striking out "secturity

function" and substituting "security function of".

Section 20 is amended

(

a) in subsection (3) by striking out "(10)" and

substituting "(11)";

(

b) by adding the following after subsection (10):

(11) The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended

balance of Program 3, Corporate Internal Audit Services, of the

2006-07 Government appropriation for Executive Council is

transferred to the President of the Treasury Board.

Water Act

WATER (MINISTERIAL) AMENDMENT REGULATION

For information only: Made by the Minister of Environment (M.O. 28/2006) on

December 21, 2006 pursuant to sections 18 and 170 of the Water Act.

1 The Water (Ministerial) Regulation (AR 205/98) is

amended by this Regulation.

Section 72(1) is amended by striking out "expires on

December 31, 2006" and substituting the following:

expires as follows:

(

a) on March 31, 2007, if on or before that date the Director

(

i) has not received an application from the licensee

of the deemed licence for a licence for the same

project and purpose as the deemed licence, or

(ii) has received such an application but, in the opinion

of the Director, the application is not complete;

(

b) on December 31, 2008, if on or before March 31, 2007

the Director has received an application from the

licensee of the deemed licence for a licence for the same

project and purpose as the deemed licence and the

application, in the opinion of the Director, is complete.
