OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic and Rural Development dated September 23, 2009, and pursuant to Order in Council 81-1422 dated November 17, 1981, which Order approved the establishment of Trade Centre Limited, and pursuant to Order in Council 85-342 dated April 2, 1985, and pursuant to the Articles of Association of the Corporation, and pursuant to all other authority in her vested is pleased to: (

a) designate Gordon D. Gillis, as Chair of the Board of Directors of Trade Centre Limited for a period of one year commencing October 6, 2009; (

b) authorize the payment of $200.00 per day, plus reasonable expenses to the Chair of the Board for work involving the Corporation; and (

c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against the above appointee of the Board of Directors of the Trade Centre Limited and indemnify him from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided, however, that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity, and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
