Order in Council 388/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to paragraph 4 of subsection 5(1) of the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation Act, 2002 , the Lieutenant Governor in Council, the federal government and Toronto city council may jointly appoint one member to the board of directors of the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation;

Whereas the provincial and federal governments and the City of Toronto have agreed upon an individual to be recommended for appointment pursuant to paragraph 4 of subsection 5(1) of the Act;

Whereas pursuant to paragraph 5 of subsection 5(1) of the Act, the board member appointed jointly by the Lieutenant Governor in Council, the federal government and city council is chair of the board;

Now therefore , pursuant to paragraph 4 of subsection 5(1) of the Act,

Stephen Diamond, of Toronto, Ontario

is appointed as a member of the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation Board of Directors, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, for a period not exceeding three years, from the effective date of this Order in Council.
