B.C. Reg. 109/2011 , deposited June 16, 2011, pursuant to the WILDLIFE ACT [section 108]. Ministerial Order M158/2011, dated June 15, 2011.

I, Steve Thomson, Minister of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations, order that

(

a) Part 1 of

Schedule 5 of the Hunting Regulation, B.C. Reg. 190/84, is amended in item 11 by striking out "Aug. 1 to March 31; Apr. 1 to June 15" and substituting "Apr. 1 to Mar. 31", and

(

b) the Wildlife Act Commercial Activities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 338/82, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

Section 3.04 (1) of the Wildlife Act Commercial Activities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 338/82, is amended by adding the following paragraph:

(a.2) uses a trap, other than a leg hold trap, to trap wolves in M.U.s 5-1 to 5-6 and 5-12 to 5-14 from April 1 to October 14, .

Section 3.08 is amended by

(

a) renumbering the

section as

section 3.08 (1), and

(

b) adding the following subsection:

(2) Despite subsection (1), the open season for trapping wolves in M.U.s 5-1 to 5-6 and 5-12 to 5-14 from April 1 to October 14 is restricted to private land only.

Schedule 3.08 is amended by adding the following under Region 5 as indicated:

No closed season in M.U.s 5-1 to 5-6, 5-12 to 5-14
