OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated December 1, 2025, and pursuant to clause 16(1)(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources: (

a) issuing a deed for the disposition of Crown lands currently identified as PID 65242216 containing approximately 0.06 hectare (0.14 acre) located on Front Street in Pictou, Pictou County, and shown outlined in bold on

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, to the Town of Pictou or its approved successors or assigns, for the nominal consideration of $1.00; and (

b) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
