DOWNTON, Director Forest Ecosystem Management Division Sept 12 URBAN AND RURAL PLANNING ACT NOTICE OF REGISTRATION TOWN OF CONCEPTION BAY SOUTH DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS AMENDMENT NO. 30, 2008 Take notice that the Town of Conception Bay South Development Regulations Amendment No. 30, 2008 approved by the Town Council of Conception Bay South on July 15, 2008 has now been registered by the Minister of Municipal Affairs.

In general terms, the propos ed Development Regulations amendment provides Council with the discretion to allow accessory buildings that exceed the maximum height requirement specified in the Residential Low Density (R1) and Residential Medium Densit y (R2) use zone tables. Currently, the maximum building height for accessory buildings specified in the R1 and R2 use zone tables is 4 metres.

Accessory buildings in the Residential Mixed zone must conform to the standards in the R2 use zone table so Council will also have the discretionary to allow residential accessory buildings that exceed the maximum height requirements in the R3 zone. The Conception Bay South Development Regulations Amendments No. 30, 2008 will come into effect on September 12, 2008, the date of publication of this notice in The Newfoundland and Labrador Gazette .
