SCHEDULE The Authority, in accordance with section 17(2) of the Assessment Authority Act, makes the following bylaw: 2000 ASSESSMENT AUTHORITY BYLAW For the year 2000, to maintain the operating fund under the Assessment Authority Act, there shall be levied on all taxable property in the Province a tax on each class of property prescribed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council under section 19(14) of the Assessment Act at the rate set out opposite that class in Column of the following table: COLUMN Class of Property Prescribed Under the Assessment Act COLUMN Rate of Tax Applied Against each $1000 of Net Taxable Value of Property Class 1 - residential .1271 Class 2 - utilities .6136 Class 3 - unmanaged forest land .4544 Class 4 - major industry .7452 Class 5 - light industry .3702 Class 6 - business and other .3591 Class 7 - managed forest land .4204 Class 8 - recreational property/ non-I rofit organization .1435 .1724 Class 9 - farm _.........
