Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated June 21, 2022, and pursuant to

Section 8 of

Chapter 25 of the Acts of 2018, the Develop Nova Scotia Act and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased, effective July 26, 2022, to: (

a) revoke the appointment of Dale Godsoe as a member of the Board of Directors of Develop Nova Scotia and her designation as the Chair, made by Order in Council 2018-238 dated September 4, 2018; (

b) revoke the following appointments as members of the Board of Directors of Develop Nova Scotia: (

i) Lori Burke, Maurice Fares, Ronald Smith, Stephen Slauenwhite, and Chrystal Fuller, made by Order in Council 2019-24 dated February 1, 2019; (ii) Stephanie Nowe-Morris, made by Order in Council 2020-73 dated February 28, 2020; (iii) Michael Roberts, made by Order in Council 2020-184 dated July 3, 2020; (iv) Jim Eisenhauer, Kavita Khanna, Jeff McKinnon, Alex Paul, Kevin Stoddart, Carla Swansburg, and Sarah Young, made by Order in Council 2021-75 dated February 25, 2021; and (

c) appoint Wayne Crawley of Halifax Regional Municipality as a member of the Board of Directors of Develop Nova Scotia for a term of office ending December 31, 2022.
