Order in Council 158/2022, approved and ordered March 30, 2022.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with

the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the amendments set out

in the attached

Schedule are made.

Schedule 3 of the Adoption Regulation, B.C. Reg. 291/96, is amended

(

a) in Forms 2, 3 and 3.1 by striking out " IN THE MATTER OF A ............................ [male/female] CHILD " and substituting " IN THE MATTER OF A CHILD ", and

(

b) in Form 5 by striking out " applying to adopt a ............................................ [Male/Female]

child " and substituting " applying to adopt a child ".

2 The regulations listed in Column 1 of Table 1 are amended in the provisions listed

opposite in Column 2 by striking out " he or she " wherever it appears and substituting the text listed opposite in Column 3.

3 The regulations listed in Column 1 of Table 2 are amended in the provisions listed

opposite in Column 2 by striking out " his or her " wherever it appears and substituting the text listed opposite in Column 3.

4 The regulations listed in Column 1 of Table 3 are amended in the provisions listed

opposite in Column 2 by striking out " he " wherever it appears and substituting the text listed opposite in Column 3.

5 The regulations listed in Column 1 of Table 4 are amended in the provisions listed

opposite in Column 2 by striking out " his " wherever it appears and substituting the text listed opposite in Column 3.
