Section 1 of the Credit Unions Act,

chapter C-32.2 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1992, is amended 1 L’article 1 de la

a) by repealing the following

definitions:

PART XI.1 ATLANTIC CENTRAL

PARTIE XI.1 ATLANTIC CENTRAL Carrying on business as a federation Exercice d’activités à

titre de fédération 192.21 No person other than Atlantic Central shall carry on business as a federation in New Brunswick. 192.21 Seule Atlantic Central peut exercer au Nouveau-Brunswick les activités d’une fédération. a) carry out any other duties and activities in rela- tion to credit unions that are agreed on by it and its member credit unions or that are set out in its by-laws,

Second amalgamation Deuxième fusion 135(1) For the purposes of this section, the Fédéra- tion, the Office de Stabilisation and the amalgamated credit union that resulted from the first amalgamation are deemed to be credit unions that are able to amalga- mate under

135(6) The approvals of the application for federal continuance by special resolution of the directors un- der each of paragraphs (5)(a), (

b) and (

c) are together deemed to be an approval of the application for federal continuance by special resolution of the amalgamated credit union that results from the second amalgama- tion. 135(6) L’ensemble des résolutions spéciales prises en application des alinéas (5)a),
