OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated July 19, 2001, and pursuant to

Section 28 of

Chapter 348 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Police Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Brian Lloyd McIntosh of R.R.#2 Mahone Bay, Lunenburg County, as a member of the Police Review Board for a term of office of three years commencing July 25, 2001; (

b) fix the remuneration of Brian Lloyd McIntosh at $150 per meeting; and (

c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Brian Lloyd McIntosh and indemnify him personal liability provided that the Province is satisfied the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
