OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour dated November 19, 1999, pursuant to

Section 10 of

Chapter 7 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1996, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, is pleased to: (

a) determine that the sum equal to 3.0 percent of the assessed revenue generated from the actual assessed payroll of the trucking industry designated as: "General Freight (SIC Code 4561)", "Used Goods Moving and Storage (SIC Code 4562)", "Bulk Liquids (SIC Code 4563)", "Dry Bulk Materials (SIC Code 4564)" and "Trucking Industry (other) (SIC Code 4569)" by the Workers' Compensation Board of Nova Scotia shall be paid out of the Accident Fund by the Workers' Compensation Board to the Nova Scotia Trucking Safety Association for the purpose of paying part of the operating costs of the Safety Training Program conducted by the Nova Scotia Trucking Safety Association; and (

b) provide that this determination shall be effective in respect of assessed revenue in relation to the actual assessed payroll for the calendar year 2000 and each subsequent year until a different determination is made, and for greater certainty, payment by the Workers' Compensation Board may be made by installments during the year.
