OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated February 23, 2016, and pursuant to

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased to, on terms and conditions as approved by the Executive Council on February 25, 2016: (

a) approve Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia as represented by the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal entering into a Design Construction Agreement with Argyle Developments Inc., Argyle Consolidated Inc. and NC CC Developments Partnership, for the design and construction of a new convention centre; (

b) approve Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia as represented by the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal entering into a twenty-five (25) year Lease Agreement with Argyle Developments Inc., Argyle Consolidated Inc. and NC CC Developments Partnership, pursuant to which the Province will lease the new convention centre; and (

c) approve the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal executing the Design Construction Agreement and the Lease Agreement.
