B.C. Reg. 293/2002, deposited November 6, 2002, pursuant to the FOREST ACT [Sections 151.1 and 153]. Order in Council 945/2002, approved and ordered November 5, 2002.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) the Forest Regions and Districts Regulation, B.C. Reg. 19/2000, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule A, and

(

b) the Timber Harvesting Contract and Subcontract Regulation, B.C. Reg. 22/96, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule B. — M. de JONG, Minister of Forests; G. CAMPBELL, Presiding Member of the Executive Council.

Schedule A

1 The Forest Regions and Districts Regulation, B.C. Reg. 19/2000, is amended by repealing

section 2 (5) and (6) and substituting the following:

(5) The following forest districts are established as shown on the attached map titled "Prince Rupert forest region": Bulkley-Cassiar forest district; Kalum forest district; Kispiox forest district; Lakes forest district; Morice forest district.

(6) The following forest districts are established as shown on the attached map titled "Vancouver forest region": Campbell River forest district; Chilliwack forest district; Mid Coast forest district; North Coast forest district; Port McNeill forest district; Queen Charlotte Islands forest district; South Island forest district; Squamish forest district; Sunshine Coast forest district.

Schedule B

section 1 of the Timber Harvesting Contract and Subcontract Regulation, B.C. Reg. 22/96, is amended by repealing the definition of "coastal area" and substituting the following:

"coastal area" means the area within one or more timber supply areas or tree farm licences listed below:
