Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated March 31, 2016, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act , is pleased to: (

a) grant a utility service easement over certain land, containing an area of 1, 805.64 square metres, more or less, situate at or near Sydney, County of Cape Breton, and more particularly described in

Schedule “A” and identified as Easement No. 6 on

Schedule “B”, which Schedules are attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) convey the utility service easement to Harbourside Commercial Park Inc. for the nominal consideration of $1.00; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Grant of Easement in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the easement herein above described.
