OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Energy dated May 21, 2025, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased to approve the Minister of Energy: (

a) entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (Canada) substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, to allow the parties to cooperate with respect to hydrographic data collection in areas of mutual interest, including sharing research, products, data, and other services; (

b) entering into a Project Agreement, substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule “A” to the MOU, for the “Multibeam Data Acquisition, Atlantic Coast 2025-26” project; and (

c) entering into future project agreements within the scope of the MOU and which are completed before the MOU expires on March 31, 2030, provided doing so does not materially change the terms and conditions upon which the MOU was approved.
