OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 3, 2003, and pursuant to Sections 7 and 16 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia: (

a) subject to the terms and conditions outlined in paragraph (b), to convey by deed or grant, the lots of Crown land containing: (

i) approximately 128 hectares (317 acres) located at Tidney River, Shelburne County, shown as Block 1 and outlined in red on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (ii) approximately 61 hectares (151 acres) located at Sable River, Shelburne County, shown as Blocks 2 and 3 and outlined in red on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; to Northfire Farms, a registered partnership of Norman E. Fraser and Verna I.G. Fraser of Milton, Queens County; (

b) in exchange for the Crown land noted in paragraph (a), to accept from Northfire Farms, a registered partnership of Norman E. Fraser and Verna I. G. Fraser of Milton, Queens County, a lot of land containing approximately 175 hectares (433 acres) situate at Sable River, Shelburne County, subject to the condition that Northfire Farms, a registered partnership of Norman E. Fraser and Verna I.G. Fraser of Milton, Queens County, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice. The said land is outlined in green on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (

c) to prepare and have executed such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
