EXPLANATORY NOTE NOTE EXPLICATIVE This Bill makes it an offence to vandalize election signs of candidates in provincial elections. A person convicted of this offence is subject to a minimum f ine and a period of imprisonment. section 184 and subsection 191(3) are amended by striking out " sections 178 to 183 " and substituting "sections 178 to 183.1 ". 2 Les alinéas 53(2)

a) sections 178 to 183 is liable on

summary conviction to a fine of not more than $10,000., or to imprisonment for a term of not more than one year, or both; and (

b) section 183.1 is liable on
