OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and Forestry dated March 21, 2019, and pursuant to subsection 7(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Lands and Forestry: (

a) acquiring approximately 38.4 hectares (95.0 acres) of land located at Marie Joseph, Guysborough County, Nova Scotia, currently being identified as PID 37530292 and shown outlined in bold on the map marked

Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, from Shawn and Jessica Hodgdon or their respective executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns for a purchase price of $257,000 plus HST (if applicable), subject to the condition that Shawn and Jessica Hodgdon or their respective executors, trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
