OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of the Public Service Commission dated May 16, 2002, and pursuant to Sections 32 and 33 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, is pleased, effective April 1, 2001, to: (

a) implement the Nova Scotia Crown Attorneys' arbitration decision; (

b) approve the permanent method of compensating the eight-member group of managers within the Public Prosecution system utilizing a revised market adjustment based on the Crown Attorneys' arbitration award; and (

c) approve overall pay levels in the Legal Services Division of the Department of Justice that are broadly comparable to those at all levels in the Public Prosecution Service based on relevant experience through a combination of MCP merit adjustment and market adjustment.
