OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Finance dated June 29, 2000, pursuant to subsection 69(

d) of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, and to subsection 5(1) of

Chapter 31 of the Acts of 1996, the Sales Tax Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Finance on behalf of the Province to enter into a Reciprocal Taxation Memorandum of Agreement with the Government of Canada, the said agreement to be substantially in the form as set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, effective on, from and after July 1, 2000, for the purpose of agreeing that each party thereto will bear or pay the taxes and fees of the other party as specified therein.
