OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Growth and Development dated June 20, 2025, and pursuant to
Section 8 of
Chapter 8 of the Acts of 2014, the Halifax Convention Centre Act , is pleased to: (
a) appoint Chris Daly of Halifax Regional Municipality as a member of the Halifax Convention Centre Board of Directors (Events East) for a term of four years commencing August 6, 2025; and (
b) order that Chris Daly be remunerated in the amount of $150 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling duties as a member, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally payable to members of the civil service.
