pursuant to the SOCIAL SERVICE TAX ACT [Sections 73 and 128]. Order in

Council 135/2002, approved and ordered February 19, 2002.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant

Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders

that the Social Service Tax Act Regulations, B.C. Reg. 84/58, is amended as set

out in the attached Schedule. — G. M. COLLINS, Minister of Finance; G.

CAMPBELL, Presiding Member of the Executive Council.

Schedule

section 2.21 is amended

(

a) by striking out "Feeders and feeding systems for livestock,

automatic or manual, including parts and controls, but not including any related

computer hardware or software" and substituting "Feeders and feeding

systems for livestock, automatic or manual, including controls and any

integrated hardware or software",

(

b) by striking out "Glass that is designed for use in greenhouses, that

has a light transmission value of at least 89% and that is purchased in

quantities of at least 5 000 square metres" and substituting "Glass,

designed for use in greenhouses, that has a light transmission value of at least

89% and that is purchased in quantities of at least 500 square metres",

(

c) by striking out "Waterers and watering systems for livestock,

automatic or manual, including parts and controls, but not including any related

computer hardware or software" and substituting "Waterers and watering

systems for livestock, automatic or manual, including controls and any

integrated hardware or software,", and

(

d) by adding the following to the list of prescribed tangible personal

property:

Hay tarps

Scales specifically designed to weigh livestock .

section 2.45 (

b) is amended by adding the following subparagraph:

(vi) a boat or travel trailer referred to in

section 79

(3) of the Act; .
