OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated December 16, 2009, and pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act, and pursuant to clause 59A(a), and subsections 59C(1), 1(

A) and (2) of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, and in accordance with the Department of Health Construction Grant Program, is pleased to approve the making of an additional grant by the Minister of Health on behalf of the Province to the Capital District Health Authority in the total amount not to exceed $10,117,634 (ten million, one hundred and seventeen thousand, six hundred and thirty-four dollars) to support the infrastructure and equipment costs related to meeting the federal Radiation Therapy Wait Times Guarantee, the cost of which grant is to be paid on the basis of invoiced costs submitted to the Department of Health and charged to "Capital Grants, Department of Health", to be effective on and after February 16, 2010.
