OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated January 15, 2003, and pursuant to Sections 2(b), 2(c), 3(1)(c), 3(1)(

d) and 5 of

Chapter 222 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Industrial Development Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize the amendment of Orders in Council 91-676 and 93-80 and the loan Agreement to amend the terms and conditions of the financial assistance granted to Crossley Carpet Mills Limited as outlined in the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated January 15, 2003; (

b) authorize financial assistance to Crossley Carpet Mills Limited by way of an Innovation Incentive from the Industrial Expansion Fund in an amount not to exceed $700,000.00; (

c) authorize the Minister of Economic Development to execute such agreements, documents and instruments as may be required to give effect to this Order; and (

d) assign the administration of this loan to Nova Scotia Business Incorporated.
