Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works dated May 18, 2004, and pursuant to

Section 9 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (

a) license certain lands containing 638.82 square metres, more or less, situate at 1597 Hollis Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, and more particularly described in

Schedule "A" and shown outlined in red on

Schedule "B", which Schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation, for the lump sum value of $516,000.00; (

b) enter into a license term of sixty (60) years, with an option to renew by the lessee for a further period of twenty (20) years, and on such other terms as are satisfactory to the Minister of Transportation and Public Works; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works to make and execute a License Agreement in such form as the Minister determines.
