Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated August 23, 2017, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (

a) consent to the grant of an easement over the Spring Garden Road War Memorial Library property located at 5381 Spring Garden Road, Halifax, Nova Scotia (PID 00076943) to the Congregational Trustees of the Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of St. David for access to the Presbyterian Church of St. David property (PIDs 41430695 and 41430687) for a nominal consideration of one dollar ($1.00), which easement is more particularly shown outlined in bold and identified as “20’-00” Proposed Easement” on

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to sign as an interest holder consenting to an easement agreement, which agreement shall be in a form acceptable to the Minister; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to execute such other documents as may be necessary to achieve the purpose of this Order.
