GAS UTILITIES REGULATION AMENDMENT REGULATION

For information only: Made by the Minister of Energy (M.O. 096/2022) on July 22,

2022 pursuant to

section 28.1(1) of the Gas Utilities Act.

1(1) The Default Gas Supply Regulation (AR 184/2003) is

amended by this section.

(2) Section 9 is amended by adding the following after

clause (h):

(

i) any information that is required by the Utility Commodity

Rebate Regulation to be included in the bill.

2(1) The Natural Gas Billing Regulation (AR 185/2003) is

amended by this section.

(2) Section 4 is amended by adding the following after

clause (f):

(

g) include any information that is required by the Utility

Commodity Rebate Regulation to be included in the

customer's bill.

ROAD AMENDMENT REGULATION

1 The Use of Highway and Rules of the Road Amendment

Regulation (AR 132/2022) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 6 is repealed and the following is substituted:

6(1) This Regulation, except

section 3, comes into force

on March 1, 2023.

(2) Section 3 comes into force on September 1, 2022.

Utility Commodity Rebate Act

UTILITY COMMODITY REBATE

AMENDMENT REGULATION

on August 18, 2022 pursuant to

section 10 of the Utility Commodity Rebate Act.

1 The Utility Commodity Rebate Regulation (AR 158/2022)

is amended by this Regulation.

Section 2 is amended

(

a) by adding the following after clause (d):

(d.1) "defined period" means the period beginning on January

1, 2022, and ending on June 30, 2022;

(

b) by repealing clause (m).

Section 3 is amended by striking out "winter" and

substituting "defined".

Section 5 is amended by striking out "3 consecutive" and

substituting "6 consecutive".

Section 6(1)(

a) is amended by striking out "3 consecutive

billing cycles ending no later than December 31, 2022" and

substituting "6 consecutive billing cycles ending no later than

February 28, 2023".

Section 8(3) is amended by striking out "February 1, 2023"

and substituting "March 31, 2023".

Section 21(2)(d)(iii) is amended

(

a) in paragraph (

A) by adding "per month" after "417

gigajoules";

(

b) in paragraph (

B) by adding "per month" after "16 334

litres";

(

c) in paragraph (

C) by adding "per month" after "10 780

litres";

(

d) in paragraph (

D) by adding "per month" after "11 068

litres".

AMENDMENT REGULATION

1 The Operator Licensing and Vehicle Control Amendment

Regulation (AR 166/2022) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 7 is repealed and the following is substituted:

7(1) This Regulation, except sections 2 and 3, comes into

force on March 1, 2023.
