Statute: Dispensing Opticians Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated June 11, 2001, and pursuant to

Section 3 of

Chapter 131 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Dispensing Opticians Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint the following persons as members of the Board of Dispensing Opticians, each for a two year term commencing May 1, 2001, and ending April 30, 2003: Mary M. Tizzard of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality; John Morrissey of Reserve Mines, Cape Breton Regional Municipality; and (

b) amend Order in Council 2001-256 dated May 31, 2001, by striking out "one year" in the fifth line of the Order and substituting "two years" and by striking out "2002" in the fifth line of the Order and substituting "2003" in order to substitute the one year term for a two year term for all three appointments made pursuant to that Order.
