Order in Council 644/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

whereas by Order in Council 643/2019 the Government of Ontario established the Ontario Provincial Police Independent Review Panel (the “Independent Review Panel”).

therefore , pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty The Queen in Right of Ontario to provide for the remuneration of advisors who serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities, the following remuneration is determined effective the date of that appointment:

Members of the Independent Review Panel shall be paid a remuneration based on a per diem of $1,200 daily, with a maximum amount of work days not exceeding 84 days and a total remuneration of $100,800 per member.

Members of the Independent Review Panel shall be eligible for reimbursement of expenses incurred in their work on the Council in accordance with the Management Board of Cabinet Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expense Directive .
