OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour and Advanced Education dated January 20, 2011, and pursuant to Sections 3 and 6 of

Chapter 37 of the Acts of 2010, the Labour Board Act, is pleased to: (

a) designate Peter E. Darby of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a Vice-chair of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring May 3, 2011, and as an alternative Chair for a term commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring the earlier of May 3, 2011 or the date the office of Chair of the Labour Board is no longer vacant; (

b) fix the remuneration of Peter E. Darby in the following aggregate amounts for his services as Vice-chair and alternative Chair of the Labour Board: (i)\x09an annual $30,000 honorarium to be paid pro rata; (ii)\x09$300.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as Vice-chair or alternative Chair or participates in necessary training; (iii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as Vice-chair or alternative Chair except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iv)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

c) designate Bruce P. Archibald, Q.C., of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a Vice-chair of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring April 27, 2014; (

d) fix the remuneration of Bruce P. Archibald, Q.C., in the following aggregate amounts for his services as a Vice-chair of the Labour Board: (i)\x09an annual $15,000 honorarium to be paid pro rata; (ii)\x09$300.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a Vice-chair or participates in necessary training; (iii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a Vice-chair except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iv)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

e) designate Susan Ashley of Wolfville, Kings County, as a Vice-chair of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring January 18, 2014; (

f) fix the remuneration of Susan Ashley in the following aggregate amounts for her services as a Vice-chair of the Labour Board: (i)\x09an annual $15,000 honorarium to be paid pro rata; (ii)\x09$300.00 per day for each day she conducts a hearing as a Vice-chair or participates in necessary training; (iii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day she necessarily attends the business as a Vice-chair except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iv)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by her in the discharge of her duties; (

g) designate Sylvester Atkinson of Middleton, Annapolis County, as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring May 3, 2013; (

h) fix the remuneration of Sylvester Atkinson in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employer member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

i) designate Gregory A. Blanchard of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring August 25, 2013; (

j) fix the remuneration of Gregory A. Blanchard in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employee member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

k) designate Patrick Bourque of River Bourgeois, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring December 12, 2013; (1) fix the remuneration of Patrick Bourque in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employer member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

m) designate Cordell Cole of White's Lake, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring December 12, 2013; (

n) fix the remuneration of Cordell Cole in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employee member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

o) designate Gary Dean of Hammonds Plains, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring April 21, 2011; (

p) fix the remuneration of Gary Dean in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employer member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

q) designate Reid DeLong of Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring April 21, 2011; (

r) fix the remuneration of Reid DeLong in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employer member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

s) designate Kenneth Estabrooks of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring April 21, 2011; (

t) fix the remuneration of Kenneth Estabrooks in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employee member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training;\x0c (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

u) designate George L. Fox of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring May 3, 2013; (

v) fix the remuneration of George L. Fox in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employer member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

w) designate Dennis G. Grant of Brookfield, Colchester County, as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring April 21, 2011; (

x) fix the remuneration of Dennis G. Grant in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employee member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

y) designate George L. Hall of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring August 25, 2013; (

z) fix the remuneration of George L.

Hall in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employer member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (aa) designate Dannie MacDonald of South Bar, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring April 27, 2013; (ab) fix the remuneration of Dannie MacDonald in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employee member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (ac) designate Gordon S.

Maclsaac of Victoria Mines, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring May 3, 2013; (ad) fix the remuneration of Gordon S.

MacIsaac in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employer member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (ae) designate Edward M.

MacNeil of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring April 27, 2013; (af) fix the remuneration of Edward M.

MacNeil in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employee member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (ag) designate Brian J.

Matheson of Middle Sackville, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring April 21, 2011; (ah) fix the remuneration of Brian J.

Matheson in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employee member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (ai) designate Thomas Patterson of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring November 29, 2013; (aj) fix the remuneration of Thomas Patterson in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employee member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (ak) designate Linda Power of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring November 29, 2013; (al) fix the remuneration of Linda Power in the following aggregate amounts for her services as an employee member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day she conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day she necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by her in the discharge of her duties; (am) designate Augustus Richardson, Q.C., of Halifax Regional Municipality as a Vice-chair of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring January 18, 2013; (an) fix the remuneration of Augustus Richardson, Q.C., in the following aggregate amounts for his services as a Vice-chair of the Labour Board: (i)\x09an annual $10,000 honorarium to be paid pro rata; (ii)\x09$300.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a Vice-chair or participates in necessary training; (iii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a Vice-chair except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iv)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (ao) designate Hugh A.

R. Simpson of Wolfville, Kings County, as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring May 3, 2013; (ap) fix the remuneration of Hugh A. R.

Simpson in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employer member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (aq) designate Eric Slone of Ferguson's Cove, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a Vice-chair of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring January 18, 2013; (ar) fix the remuneration of Eric Slone in the following aggregate amounts for his services as a Vice-chair of the Labour Board: (i)\x09an annual $10,000 honorarium to be paid pro rata; (ii)\x09$300.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a Vice-chair or participates in necessary training; (iii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a Vice-chair except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iv)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (as) designate Allan Stapleton of Middle Sackville, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring April 13, 2012; (at) fix the remuneration of Allan Stapleton in the following aggregate amounts for his services as an employer member of the Labour Board: (i)\x09$200.00 per day for each day he conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii)\x09$150.00 per day for each day he necessarily attends the business as a member except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii)\x09such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (au) designate Michael R.

Tynes of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office commencing February 8, 2011 and expiring May 3, 2013; (av) fix the remuneration of Michael R.
