An Act to amend certain Statutes respecting the Locating of Utility Lines (Assented to March 19, 2024) HIS MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title T his Act may be cited as The Miscellaneous Statutes (Utility Line Locates) Amendment Act, 2024. RSS 1978, c P-19,

section 59.1 amended S ubsection 59.1(3) of The Power Corporation Act is amended by striking out “48 hours before the commencement of the activity ” and substituting “ 3 working days, or any longer period set out in an agreement between the person and the corporation, before the commencement of the activity”. RSS 1978, c S-34,

section amended S ubsection 45(3) of The Saskatchewan Telecommunications Act is amended by striking out “ forty-eight hours before the commencement of the activity” and substituting “ 3 working days, or any longer period set out in an agreement between the person and the corporation, before the commencement of the activity”. SS 1992, c S-35.1,

section amended S ubsection 57(1) of The SaskEnergy Act is amended by striking out “two working days before the activity” and substituting “3 working days, or any longer period set out in an agreement between the person and the corporation or TransGas, before the commencement of the activity”. Coming into force This Act comes into force on assent. 2024
