OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for Nova Scotia Resources Limited and the Minister responsible for the Nova Scotia Petroleum Directorate dated January 27, 2000, pursuant to

Section 23 of

Chapter 9 of the Acts of 1987, the Offshore Petroleum Royalty Act, is pleased to: (

a) make regulations respecting the exemption of Nova Scotia Resources (Ventures) Limited from royalty payments in the form set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, effective on, from and after March 1, 2000; and (

b) authorize the Minister responsible for the Nova Scotia Petroleum Directorate to sign any documents necessary to implement this exemption.
