OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated November 1, 2006 and pursuant to

Section 68, subsections 68(1) to (5) and (11) of

Chapter 7 of the Acts of 1996, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Darren Gardiner of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, to the list of persons eligible to be designated as an employer member of an Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel, for a term of three years commencing November 20, 2006; (

b) reappoint Robert McArel of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, to the list of persons eligible to be designated as an employer member of an Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel, for a term of three years commencing November 20, 2006;\x0c(

c) reappoint Janet Hartlen of Liverpool, Region of Queens Municipality, to the list of persons eligible to be designated as an employer member of an Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel, for a term of three years commencing November 20, 2006; and (

d) fix the remuneration for Darren Gardiner, Robert McArel and Janet Hartlen at $150.00 per day while attending to the business of acting as an employer member of an Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel, in addition to reasonable expenses incurred in the course of carrying out his duties for an appeal panel.
