OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General dated December 3, 2003, and pursuant to

Section 54 of

Chapter 30 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Barristers and Solicitors Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Christine A. McCulloch, Q.C., of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Board of Governors of the Law Foundation of Nova Scotia for a term of office of two years commencing December 19, 2003; (

b) appoint Christine A. McCulloch, Q.C., of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, to be Chair of the Board of Governors of the Law Foundation of Nova Scotia for a term of office of one year commencing December 19, 2003; and (

c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Christine A. McCulloch, Q.C., and indemnify her from personal liability, provided that the Province is satisfied the claim arises out of her activities in relation to her appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends her, the Province will be in control of the case.
