An Act to amend The Alberta Commercial Services Act (Assented to , 1967) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1. The Alberta Commercial Services Act is amended as to subsection (1) of

section by striking out the words "so long as the total amount of the advances outstanding at any one time does not exceed the sum of three million dollars". 2. This Act comes into force on the day upon which it is assented to. Explanatory Notes I. This Bill amends

chapter of the Statutes of Alberta, 1964. Subsection (1) of

section presently reads: 9.

(1) The Provincial Treasurer is hereby authorized to make, at the request of the corporation, advances of such sums out of the General Revenue Fund of the Province as are required from time to time for the purpose of transacting the business of the corporation so long as the total amount of the advances outstanding at anyone time does not exceed the sum of three million dollars.
