OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated September 11, 2017, and pursuant to

Section 94 of

Chapter 37 of the Acts of 2005, the Correctional Services Act , is pleased to approve of amendments made by the Minister of Justice to the Correctional Services Regulations , N.S. Reg. 99/2006, made by order of the Minister of Justice dated June 21, 2006, and approved by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2006-317 dated June 28, 2006, to reduce the maximum number of days an offender can be placed in close confinement and to require the superintendent to specify whether a disciplinary penalty is to be imposed concurrently or consecutively in the manner set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, effective on and after October 31, 2017.
