DA VID ALWARD BILL No One Left Behind Act WHEREAS there must be direct accountability of de- cision makers who restrict or withhold access to electric- ity; THEREFORE, Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brun- swick, enacts as follows: 1 The Minister of Energy shall not allow NB Power to disconnect residential electricity customers with legiti- mate economic needs, as determined by the Minister, each year from November to April 30. 2 This Act comes into force on a day to be fixed by proclamation.

PROJET DE LOI Loi pour que personne ne soit oublié ATTENDU QUE, les décideurs qui limitent ou débran- chent tout accès à l’électricité ont une responsabilité di- recte; À CES CAUSES, Sa Majesté, sur l’avis et avec le con- sentement de l’Assemblée législative du Nouveau- Brunswick, édicte : 1 Le ministre de l’Énergie ne devrait pas permettre à Énergie NB de débrancher les clients résidentiels dans une mauvaise situation financière, tel que déterminé par le mi- nistre, à chaque année pour la période du er novembre au avril de l’année suivante. 2 La présente loi entre en vigueur à la date fixée par proclamation.
