CHAPTER

An Act to repeal The Agricultural Societies Act and make consequential amendments to other Acts (Assented to May 17, 2007) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Agricultural Societies Repeal Act. R.S.S. 1978, c.A-15 repealed The Agricultural Societies Act is repealed. R.S.S. 1978, c.A-34 amended Clause 4(

b) of The Auctioneers Act is amended by striking out “under the auspices of an agricultural society organized under The Agricultural Societies Act or”. S.S. 2002, c.C-11.1 amended Clause 262(1)(

m) of The Cities Act is repealed and the following substituted: “(

m) the property of every agricultural society, fair and exhibition incorporated or continued pursuant to The Non-profit Corporations Act, 1995”. S.S. 2005, c.M-36.1 amended Clause 292(1)(

o) of The Municipalities Act is repealed and the following substituted: “(

o) the property of every agricultural society, fair and exhibition incorporated or continued pursuant to The Non-profit Corporations Act, 1995”. Coming into force This Act comes into force on assent.
