B.C. Reg. 362/2005, deposited December 9, 2005, pursuant to the WORKERS COMPENSATION ACT [Section 6.1 (4) and (5)] and the WORKERS COMPENSATION AMENDMENT ACT, 2005 [Section 4]. Order in Council 881/2005, approved and ordered December 8, 2005.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective April 11, 2005,

(

a) sections 1 and 2 of the Workers Compensation Amendment Act , 2005, are brought into force, and

(

b) the attached Firefighters' Occupational Disease Regulation is made.

DISEASE REGULATION

Diseases and minimum cumulative periods prescribed

1 The diseases set out in Column 1 of the Table are prescribed as occupational diseases for the purposes of

section 6.1 (2) of the

Workers Compensation Act and the minimum cumulative period set out in Column 2 of the Table is prescribed for the purposes of

section 6.1 (3) (

a) of that Act for the occupational disease set out opposite it in Column 1.
