OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables dated December 29, 2022, and pursuant to clause 7(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables: (

a) acquiring two parcels of land totalling approximately 0.4 hectare (1 acre) located at Bayswater, Lunenburg County, currently identified as PIDs 60437993 and 60071172 as shown outlined in bold on the map marked

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, from Gordon Arthur Cockell and Michelle Cockell, their executors, heirs, trustees, administrators or approved successors or assigns for a purchase price of $285,000 (plus HST, if applicable), subject to the condition that Gordon Arthur Cockell and Michelle Cockell, their executors, heirs, trustees, administrators or approved successors or assigns, are able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
