OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated November 3, 2022, and pursuant to
Section 6 of
Chapter 430 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Small Claims Court Act , is pleased to: (
a) appoint the following as adjudicators of the Small Claims Court, each for a term of one (1) year, effective on and after November 29, 2022: i. Sarah Greenwood of Halifax, ii. Karen R. Hollett of Halifax, iii. Blair Mitchell of Halifax, iv. Dianne E. Paquet of Truro, and v. Sarah Shiels of Yarmouth; (
b) re-appoint the following as adjudicators of the Small Claims Court, each for a term of three (3) years, effective on and after November 29, 2022: i. Twila Gaudet of Kentville, and ii. Julien S. Matte of Truro; (
c) re-appoint the following as adjudicators of the Small Claims Court, each for a term of three (3) years, effective on and after December 20, 2022: i. Nelson Blackburn of Guysborough, and ii. W. Augustus Richardson, K.C. of Halifax; (
d) re-appoint the following as adjudicators of the Small Claims Court, each for a term of three (3) years, effective on and after December 22, 2022: i. Raffi Balmanoukian of Pictou ii. Bernard Conway of Kings County, iii. Dale Darling, K.C. of Halifax, iv. Leigh Davis of Halifax, v. Nancy Elliott of Halifax, vi. Bryna Hatt of Port Hawkesbury, vii. Darrel Pink of Halifax, and vii. Tuma Young, K.C. of Sydney.
